20th Valentine’s Throwball Championship /first position was bagged by Team PWC A defeating Magadh Mahila College.

Patna Women’s College held an Inter-College 20th Valentine’s Throwball Championship on 14th
February, 2023 at 11:30 A.M. in the Throwball Court. A total of three teams PWC A, PWC B and
Magadh Mahila College participated in the Championship.
The Championship started with the welcome address by Dr. Manjula Sushila, Secretary Sports
Committee and Head, Department of Hindi in which she motivated and encouraged the students to
give their best and to play with sportsmanship spirit. Thereafter, the programme was inaugurated by
Dr. Manjula Sushila, Secretary Sports Committee and Head, Department of Hindi, Ms. Shweta Singh,
Mr. Pappu and Mr. Rakesh, declaring the Championship open with bunch of balloons unleashing to
the sky.

The first match was conducted between Team PWC A and Magadh Mahila College in which Team
PWC A emerged victory. In the second round Magadh Mahila College defeated Team PWC B. The
third round was played between Team PWC A and Team PWC B, in which Team PWC A won. In the
finals the first position was bagged by Team PWC A defeating Magadh Mahila College.
The whole event was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Sister M. Rashmi A.C., Principal, Patna
Women’s College, Dr. Sister M. Tanisha A.C., Vice- Principal, Patna Women’s College, Dr. Manjula
Sushila, Secretary Sports Committee and Head, Department of Hindi and Ms. Shweta Singh, Sports
Teacher.

पटना वीमेंस कॉलेज ने 14 फरवरी, 2023 को सुबह 11:30 बजे 20वीं वैलेंटाइन थ्रोबॉल इंटर कॉलेज चैंपियनशिप का
आयोजन किया। चैंपियनशिप में कुल तीन टीम, पीडब्ल्यूसी ए, पीडब्ल्यूसी बी और मगध महिला कॉलेज ने भाग लिया।
चैंपियनशिप की शुरुआत डॉ. मंजुला सुशीला, सचिव खेल समिति एवं विभागाध्यक्ष, हिन्दी विभाग के स्वागत भाषण से
हुई जिसमें उन्होंने छात्राओं को अपना सर्वश्रेष्ठ देने और पूरे जोश व उत्साह के साथ खेलने के लिए प्रेरित व प्रोत्साहित
किया। तत्पश्चात खेल समिति की सचिव डॉ. मंजुला सुशीला एवं हिन्दी विभाग की प्रमुख, मिस श्वेता सिंह, श्री पप्पू एवं
श्री राकेश ने आकाश में गुब्बारों के गुच्छे को उड़ा कर चैंपियनशिप उद्घाटन किया।
पहला मैच टीम पीडब्ल्यूसी ए और मगध महिला कॉलेज के बीच हुआ जिसमें टीम पीडब्ल्यूसी ए की जीत हुई। दूसरे
राउंड में मगध महिला कॉलेज ने टीम पीडब्लूसी बी को हराया। तीसरा राउंड टीम पीडब्लूसी ए और टीम पीडब्लसी बी
के बीच खेला गया, जिसमें टीम पीडब्लूसी ए ने जीत हासिल की। फाइनल में टीम पीडब्ल्यूसी ए ने मगध महिला कॉलेज
को हराकर पहला स्थान हासिल किया।

शिक्षिका के मार्गदर्शन में पूरा कार्यक्रम संपन्न हुआ।
