Department of Sociology, Patna Women’s College, organized “Quiz Competition

On the birth anniversary of Auguste Comte, The Department of Sociology, Patna Women’s College, organized a
“Quiz Competition” for Semester IV and Semester VI and “Poster Making Competition” for Semester II on his theory
Law Of Three Stages.
On the occasion of Auguste Comte Day on 19th January 2023 the students of the Department of Sociology took an
active participation where there were total consisting of 140 participants who participated.
Through poster making competition students highlighted his very prominent theory that is Law of Three Stages,
where all his three stages that is Theological , Metaphysical and Positive Stage. Total nine groups showcased their
creativity through posters.
A Quiz Competition was also organised on the biographical sketch and the concepts given by Auguste Comte,Father
Of Sociology.
In the entire event Dr. Tapashi Bhattacharjee, Head Department of Sociology , Sister Jincy A.C. Assisstant Professor,
Department Of Sociology Dr.Ragini Ranjan, Assisstant Professor, Department Of Sociology ,Dr. Juhi Singh,
Assisstant Professor, Department Of Sociology, Miss Samiksha Sinha, Assisstant Professor , Department Of
Sociology , Dr. Chinmayee Mohanty, Assisstant Professor, Department Of Sociology were present.
