Famous film director and producer Prakash Jha’s father, Tej Nath Jha, has passed away.Tej Nath Jha, the father of Prakash Jha, was a government official. He originally hailed from Badaharwa village in West Champaran, Bettiah.After Tej Nath Jha’s demise, there is a wave of grief in the entire Jha family. The final rites will take place in Bansghat.receiving the news of his father’s passing, Prakash Jha immediately arrived in Patna with his family.
The funeral program will be held in Patna. The body procession will begin from their residence in JP Nagar (AG Colony). The cremation will take place at Bansghat in Patna.
He took his last breath at his residence (Vipassana) in Jay Prakash Nagar, Patna. He had been unwell for the past few days and was undergoing treatment at a major hospital in Patna. On Monday evening, he was discharged from the hospital. However, his condition suddenly deteriorated during the night, and he passed away before he could be taken back to the hospital.
Prakash Jha, known for producing and directing hit Hindi films like “Bandish,” “Mrityudand,” “Rajneeti,” “Apaharan,” “Damul,” “Gangaajal,” and “Shool,” has always been present at the box office with hopes of bringing about socio-political changes through his films. With his first film “Damul,” he touched the pulse of village Panchayats, zamindari, and the struggles of the privileged and the oppressed. Today, he is a successful producer and director.
