Inter- College Dance Competition at Patna Women’s College

On 25th February 2023 an Inter- College Dance Competition was being organized byPatna University Cultural Activities Board at Patna Women’s College.The Eminent Judges for the competition were Ms. Sudipa Bose, Head Department ofBharatnatyam, Bhartiye Nrityakala Mandir and Ms. Soma Chakraborty, Lecturer, FolkDance Department, Bhartiye Nrityakala Mandir. Professor Shefali Roy, DirectorPublic Administration, Patna University and Member of Cultural Activities Board,Patna University was also present.Patna Women’s College, Magadh Mahila College, Patna Training College, PatnaScience College, Vanijya Mahavidyala and Patna College participated in theCompetition.There was a total of 8 participants in Classical Solo Dance Competition and a total of7 group in Folk/Tribal Dance Competition. Different dance forms like kathak, Odissi,Bharatnatyam were performed by the students.

The whole programme was organized by Cultural Coordinators, Dr. Sister CelineCrasta A.C., Head Department of History, Ms. Samiksha Sinha, Asst. Prof.Department of Sociology, and Ms. Enakshi Dey Biswas, Coordinator, PerformingArts.The competition was moderated by Nishtha Vatsa Vice-Premier and Khyati Jt.General Secretary Patna Women’s College.
