Patna Women’s college celebrated Joy of Giving Week (compassion drive) in which the students of
the Institution donated food items and other items of necessity for the social cause.
On the first day (19.10.22) of the Distribution Drive as a mark of kindness towards the needy, Patna
Women’s College, donated around twenty sacks of rice and pulses along with some detergents to
the inmates of Padri ki Haveli, Patna City. Along with the students of different discipline, the
teachers present were Sister Nelsa, Dr. Priyanka and Miss Puja.

On the second day (21.10.22) of the Distribution Drive, the college donated around twenty sacks of
rice and pulses along with some detergents to the inmates of Missionaries of charity (brothers), for
physically and differently abled people, Dibru, Patna. The second day was conducted under the
guidance of Dr. Sister Celine Crasta, Dr. Soni Kumari and Dr. Preeti Swarupa.
Then, on the third day (22.10.22) of Distribution Drive, the teachers and students of Department of
Geography handed over 20 sacks of rice and 2 sacks of masoor daal collected during the Joy of
Giving Week to the inmates of NGO Manthan, Khagaul on 22th October, 2022. The supervisors of
the day were Dr. Amrita Chowdhury and Sister Anna A.C.
On the final day (26.10.22) of the Distribution Drive, Dr. Sister M. Rashmi A.C., Principal, along with
the teachers and students, Patna Women’s College, in collaboration with Bihar Water Development
Society Seva Kendra, Kurji donated around 101 bags of Rice (5 kg each), a swoop, Coconut, Agarbatti
and a saree to the local women performing Chath Puja. The donation drive took place under the
supervision of Dr. Sister M. Rashmi A.C., Ms. Samiksha Sinha, Ms. Enakshi Dey Biswas, Ms. Puja and
Ms. Divya Gautam.
