On 24th August 2023, Patna Women’s College organized a success event for ISRO to celebrate the soft landing of Chandrayan-3 on the South Pole of Moon. The college celebrated the Trailblazer of India, to be the first on the globe to reach on the South Pole of the Moon. Balloons of Orange and Purple colors were released in the sky symbolizing sending prayers and messages to Heaven of ISRO’s exceptional and remarkable achievement. The song “Hai Salaam tujhe ISRO” was played along the release of the balloons which was carried by Dr. Sister M. Rashmi A.C., Prinpical, Patna Women’ College. Dr. Sister M.Tanisha A.C., Vice Principal, Patna Women’s College, Deans, Teachers and all the students of PatnaWomen’s College present in the basketball court wore badges symbolizing ISRO and the students held posters of ISRO’s achievment. The entire event was well coordinated by Dr. Aprajita Krishnan, Dean, Sciences and Head, Department of Physics and the Cultural Coordinators, Dr. Sister Celine Crasta A.C., Head, Department of History ; Ms. Enakshi Dey Biswas, Coordinator, Performing Arts and Ms. Samiksha Sinha, Assistant Professor, Department of Sociology.
