
Patna Women’s College, celebrated World Ozone Day
On the occasion of World Ozone Day, the ECO task force in collaboration with the Department
of Zoology, Patna Women’s College, Autonomous, celebrated World Ozone Day on 15.09.2023.
World Ozone Day is observed annually on 16th September. It serves as a global reminder of the
importance of the Ozone layer in protecting life on Earth. The ceremony began with a warm
welcome to all attendees, including students, faculty members and Vice Principal, Dr. Sister M
Tanisha AC. There was initiation of new members of ECO task Force. They were given sashes of
ECO Task Force by Sister Tanisha and few faculty members of the Department of Zoology,
Patna Women’s College.


After that oath was administered by Dr. Sister M Tanisha AC to 270 new members of ECO Task Force. Students from different departments became new members. They pledged to uphold the
principles of environmental responsibility and preserve Ozone layer.
The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Sister M. Tanisha A.C., Dr. Shobha Shrivastava, Dr. Sister Stuti AC, Dr. Sumeet Ranjan, Dr.Sapna Kumari, Dr. Neetu, Mr. Rajeev Ranjan, Ms Sidra Perween and Ms Aishwarya Shree. The programme was attended by large number of old members of ECO Task Force. Through education, awareness, and action, institutions like Patna Women’s College are playing a crucial
role in building a sustainable future for the generations to come.
