Patna Women’s College enthusiastically celebrated Virasat: College Day 2022

Patna Women’s College enthusiastically celebrated Virasat: College Day 2022 with much joy and
gaiety on 12th November, 2022 from 09:45 A.M. onwards for the students of the college in the
open-air stage hall. The event continued for more than four hours. The event commenced with the
hoisting of the college flag which was followed by the college anthem.
A mesmerizing prayer dance submerged the audience in the essence of spiritualism, a euphonious
welcome song was portrayed by a group of students which was followed up by a melodious
welcome song. Principal Dr. Sister M Rashmi A.C., Patna Women’s College encouraged and
motivated the students by manifesting the lines. “Patna Women’s College is an epitome of
excellence culture discipline and empowerment”.


Thereafter, the much anticipated and most awaited Miss PWC contest took place. The contest
comprised of three rounds. The contestants presented themselves in the round one, the round two
was a writing round where the former was supposed to portray their writing skills in a limited time.
The final round was an on-the spot question round where the judges asked relevant questions.
Furthermore, an enthralling classical dance was portrayed by a group of students, the other
performances included a solo song, folk dance, dance drama and a western song.

The jury members for the Miss PWC contest 2022 were Prof. Shefali Roy, Director, Public
Administration, Patna University, Patna, Dr. Shailaja Sinha, Head, Department of Sanskrit, Ram
Krishna Dwarika College, Patliputra University, Patna and Mr. Alok John, Dean, National,
International Collaborations and Consultancy Services, Patna Women’s College, Autonomous, Patna
University.


Dr. Sister Celine Crasta A.C., Head, Department of History, Ms. Enakshi Dey Biswas, Coordinator,
Performing Arts and Ms. Samiksha Sinha, Cultural Coordinator and Assistant Professor, Department
of Sociology coordinated the event with utmost dedication which made the event a success.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Nishtha Vatsa, Vice-Premier. The event was
moderated by Tanishka and Mariyam.

Aviation Academy. Sponsors from fooding and beverages segment were Roshan’s Café, Madras Dosa
