Patna Women’s College held 6th Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Inter-college Kabbadi Tournament

Patna Women’s College held 6th Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Inter-college Kabbadi Tournament on 31st March,
2023 at 09:00 A.M. in the Sports Ground. A total of 5 teams PWC A, PWC B, MMC A, MMC B and J. D.
Women’s College participated in the tournament.
The tournament started with our welcome address by Dr. Manjula Sushila, Secretary Sports Committee
and Head, Department of Hindi in which she stated that for the first time this tournament is being
organised at Inter-college level. She encouraged and wished best of luck to all the participating teams.
The first match was played between PWC team B and MMC team B in which PWC team B emerged
victorious. The second match was played between MMC team A and J. D. Women’s college in which
MMC team A won the match. The third match was conducted between PWC team A and PWC team B in
which PWC team A won the match. Final match was conducted between PWC team A and MMC team A
in which PWC team A defeated MMC team A.

The whole event was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Manjula Sushila, Secretary Sports Committee
and Head, Department of Hindi and Ms. Shweta Singh, Sports Teacher. Dr. Sumit Ranjan, Assistant
Professor, Department of Zoology and Dr. Piyush Kumar Rai, Assistant Professor,Department of Botany
were also present .
