Patna Women’s College organized a Spic Macay
programme

On 1st March, 2023 Patna Women’s College organized a Spic Macay
programme in which Purilia Chhau Dance style was presented by the artists in
the Open-Air Stage Hall.
The artists performed Purilia Chhau of West Bengal. The performance was
based on the mythological story of ”Mahisasura Vadh”. Total 16 artists
performed on stage. Mr. Manish coordinated the event as a representative of
Spic Macay.
Towards the end of the event, Cultural Coordinators, Ms. Samiksha Sinha, Asst.
Professor, Department of Sociology and Ms. Enakshi Dey Biswas, Coordinator,
Performing Arts, presented the token of gratitude to the artists. Sister Celine
Crasta A.C., Cultural Coordinator and Head, Department of History, was
present throughout. The entire event was moderated by Nishtha Vatsa, Vice-
Premier, Student Council 2022.
