Patna Women’s College – the Pre-
Placement Talk organized by Tata Consultancy Services (TCS)

On September 14, 2023, a significant event took place at Patna Women’s College – the Pre-
Placement Talk organized by Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) TAG team Kolkata and Regional
Lead Rahul Jha. This event was a part of the college’s efforts to provide valuable career
opportunities to its students. The event was efficiently coordinated by the Placement and Career
Counselling Cell, led by Alok John, with unwavering support from the Placement Committee
members, Mr. Sumeet Ranjan, Mr. Rajeev Ranjan, and Mr. Gautam Saurabh.

The primary objective of the Pre-Placement Talk was to bridge the gap between the corporate world and the aspiring young women of Patna Women’s College. The event aimed to provide insights into TCS BPS’s culture, career prospects, and the recruitment process. The event commenced with a warm welcome address by Alok John, Dean of NICCS. He expressed his gratitude to TCS BPS for choosing Patna Women’s College as a platform for their Pre-Placement Talk. The representatives from TCS BPS gave an informative presentation about the company. This presentation highlighted TCS BPS’s global presence, work culture, and the .wide range of opportunities it offers to young graduates. An interactive session followed the presentation, where students had the opportunity to ask questions about TCS BPS and therecruitment process. The questions ranged from job roles to work-life balance, showcasing the students’ eagerness to learn more. The event served as a valuable platform for students to gain insights into their potential careers and marked another successful step in the college’s journey toward empowering young women in their pursuit of excellence.
