Thematic Dance Competition on the theme of “Fundamental Rights of India”.

On the occasion of 74 th Republic Day, Patna Women’s College organised a Thematic Dance
Competition on the theme of “Fundamental Rights of India”.
The Eminent Judges for the competition were Dr. Manjula Sushila, Head, Department of
Hindi, Dr. Priyanka, Assistant Professor Department of History and Ms. Taniya Banerjee,
Assistant Professor, Department of Political Science, Patna Women’s College.
The Thematic Dance consisted of seven performances showcasing the Fundamental Rights of
India such as the right to equality, right to freedom, right against exploitation, right to
freedom of religion, cultural and educational rights, and right to constitutional remedies, the
performances presented by the seven groups exhibited the Fundamental Rights that protect
the liberties and freedom of the citizens against any invasion by the state, and prevent the
establishment of authoritarian and dictatorial rule in the country.
Towards the end of programme Dr. Manjula Sushila, Head, Department of Hindi gave her
feedback about the performances .
Results were declared towards the end. Dr. Sister M. Rashmi A.C., Principal, congratulated
the participants for their active participation and also said that we’re celebrating Republic
Day in a grand way for the first time in Patna Women’s College and that we will continue to
celebrate this in a grandeur way. She then appreciated and congratulated the participants and
winners, respectively.
The programme was moderated by Sakina Khatoon and Sneha Raj, Patna Women’s College.
Vote of thanks was then proposed by Khyati, Student Council, 2023, Patna Women’s
College. The list of the winners is enclosed.
