She further stated that she did not know whether she would achieve the first position in the merit or top the All India ranking. Ishita shared that her dream is to become an IAS officer and serve the country. She is very pleased with her result. However, it is true that Ishita tasted failure twice in the prelims. But she did not lose hope. My family supported me immensely, even though I did not pass the prelims twice, they had a lot of faith in me. The way they encouraged me and made things easier for me, I will always be grateful to them Ishita said
Ishita Kishor, a resident of Sadhanapuri Mohalla in Gardanibagh, Patna, has secured the first position in the UPSC examination. It is known that Ishita is the grand daughter of the late Banvir Prasad Ji, the guardian and chairman of the Chitragupta Puja Committee in Thakurbadi, Gardanibagh.

Buxar girl Garima Lohia has made Bihar proud by securing the second position in the prestigious Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) exam 2022, the results of which were declared on Tuesday.The Chief Minister of Bihar congratulated all the candidates, including Lohia, for their magnificent success in the UPSC exam and wished them a bright future.Lohia stands out from the crowd as she moved to her native place Buxar from Delhi for civil services preparation, unlike many other aspirants who migrate to different educational hubs from small towns.A commerce graduate from Delhi University, Lohia has cleared the prestigious exam in the second attempt.Talking to the media, she said, “I decided to prepare for civil services in 2020 during the Covid-19 lockdown. After returning home, I started self-study and also took help from online study platforms. In my first attempt, I could not clear the prelims examination. I again worked hard and cleared the exam in the second attempt. I was expecting to clear the exam, but I did not imagine securing the second rank.”Garima Lohia’s achievement has brought great pride to Bihar. She completed her schooling at Woodstock School in Buxar. Later, she went to Varanasi for intermediate studies and then got admission to Kirori Mal College in Delhi in the commerce stream.”I have a desire to become an IAS officer so that I can solve issues faced by common people at the grassroots level. I want to serve Bihar. I have received a lot from the state, so I feel responsible to return to the state,” she said.”
