Day 4 of the visit of team from Mizoram under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM) – Ek
Bharat Shrestha Bharat (ESEB) began with a session on Historical heritage and lost history of
Bihar. The session was conducted by Dr. Priyanka, Asst. Professor, Dept. of History, Patna
Women’s College. She presented an overview, regarding the historical journey of Bihar and its
cultural heritage. A documentary prepared by the students of history department; Patna
Women’s College was screened to the visiting team members. The members were taken for a
visit to Gandhi Sanghralaya (Museum). They paid homage to the unsung heroes of freedom
movement at Marty’s Memorial, Patna.
The team members were taken for a city ride around the Ganga marine drive and Atal path to
have a view of modern urban development of the city.
They visited Shri Krishna Science Centre to understand various models related to science and
technological advancement. They witnessed the laser show programme at the state of art
meditation centre at Buddha Smriti Park.
