Japan experienced strong tremors on Monday

According to media reports, the intensity of the earthquake in Japan has been measured at 7.5 on the Richter scale. Along with this, the administration has also issued a tsunami alert. It is being reported that 21 aftershocks with an intensity of 4 have also been recorded. There is now concern that waves as high as 5 meters, or 16 feet, could occur. People living in coastal areas have been advised to move to safe places.
Just 8 minutes after the 7.5 intensity earthquake, another earthquake of 6.2 intensity occurred. Recordings of 21 aftershocks with an intensity of 4 have been made. The epicenter of the earthquake was 10 kilometers below the surface in the city of Anamizu in the Ishikawa prefecture.
