Patna Women’s College Triumphs in Inter-College Sports Events

Patna Women’s College, with its unwavering dedication to sports and the blessings of the principal, hosted three
prestigious inter-college sports tournaments: the 22nd Valentine Throwball Championship, 9th Celine Tirkey Memorial
Basketball Tournament, and 8th Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Kabaddi Tournament. Demonstrating exceptional athleticism
and teamwork, PWC athletes delivered remarkable performances across all events.
The Basketball Tournament witnessed a stellar performance as PWC defeated J.D. Women’s College to claim the title.

In the Throwball Championship, PWC secured a decisive win against Magadh Mahila College in the final match.
Similarly, in the Kabaddi Tournament, J.D. Women’s College outperformed PWC to emerge as champions.

Each tournament commenced with motivational speeches and tributes, fostering a spirit of sportsmanship and unity
among participants. The events were held under the guidance of Dr. Manjula Sushila, Ms. Shweta Singh, and Mr.
Sumeet Ranjan, along with esteemed faculty members. Samridhi Kashyap, Sports Secretary, and Kanchan Vinod, Jt.
Sports Secretary, also played a crucial role in encouraging students to embrace teamwork and resilience.
