Three-DayFresher's Day Programme@Patna Women's College

Patna Women’s College, Autonomous, Patna University organized a vibrant Three-Day
Fresher’s Day Programme from July 29, 2024 to July 31, 2024. Today marked the first day of
the programme, in which various departments including , Chemistry, Zoology (UG&PG), MSW,
Physics (UG&PG), CEMS, BCA, Hindi, Urdu, Sanskrit, Biotechnology (PG), MCA and PGDCA
actively participated.

The students from each department showcased their exceptional talents,
making the event a remarkable success. The Cultural Committee members, including Ms.
Manisha Prasad, Dr. Sister Celine Crasta A.C., Ms. Enakshi Dey Biswas, Ms. Amrita Prakash,
Ms. Puja Kumari, Dr. Jaya Philip, Sister Nelsa A.C., Mr. Adweetiya Sinha, Dr. Sumeet Ranjan,
Dr. Vinita Priyedarshi, Sister Anna A.C, Dr. Prabhat Jha and Dr. Priyanka, were present in the
respective assigned departments to oversee the proceedings.

Happy Hours is a restaurant located in Mithapur, Patna, Bihar.

The newly enrolled students
exhibited their talents through song performances, dance routines, and poetry recitations. This
year we had the concept of Miss Fresher’s in which one student was selected from each
department by the judges and announced as Miss Fresher’s. Sonam Kumari of MCA PGDCA,
Sumaiyah Khan of BCA, Anushka of Chemistry, Aashi Sinha of Physics, Beauty Keshri of
Zoology, Sujata of MSW, Siddhi of CEMS, Anjali Kumari of Hindi Urdu Sanskrit and Mariyum
Mumtaz of Biotechnology were the chosen ones for today. During the event, the students
expressed their gratitude towards Dr. Sister M Rashmi A.C., Principal, Patna Women’s College,
and Dr. Sister M Tanisha A.C., Vice-Principal, Patna Women’s College for their unwavering
support and motivation throughout the programme.
