Maid Arrested in Ghaziabad for Kneading Dough with Urine to make Roti: Shocking Video Goes Viral
A disturbing video from Ghaziabad has surfaced, causing widespread outrage and raising serious concerns. The footage, recorded in a residence at Crossing Republic, shows a maid engaging in a shocking act of contamination in the kitchen.
According to reports, the maid, identified as Reena, a 32-year-old resident of Shanti Nagar, was caught on camera mixing urine with water to knead dough, which was then used to make bread (rotis) for the family she worked for. Reena had been employed as a cook by a real estate businessman’s family for the past eight years.
The family had been suffering from health issues, particularly liver problems, for a prolonged period, with no improvement despite ongoing treatment. Suspicious of something wrong in their diet, the businessman installed a hidden camera in the kitchen. The footage revealed the horrific truth: Reena, while working in the kitchen, would close the door and urinate in a container, mixing it with the ingredients for the family’s meals.
When confronted, Reena reportedly confessed that she had done this out of resentment, claiming that her employers frequently scolded her over minor issues, which deeply upset her. However, she later denied the accusations during police interrogation.
On October 14, the businessman’s wife filed a formal complaint, and a case was registered at Crossing Republic police station. Reena was arrested on October 16 and has been charged under sections related to the spread of infectious diseases.
The video has since gone viral, sparking outrage and calls for strict action against such acts of deliberate contamination. The police are continuing their investigation into the matter.
