As part of the cultural segment, the college’s cultural team presented a dance drama titled “Nari Shakti Ki Mashaal”, directed by Assistant Professor Inakshi Dey Biswas, highlighting women empowerment and resilience.

Directed by Anubhav Sinha, “Assi” portrays the struggles of a sexual assault survivor and sensitively captures her inner battle and the complex judicial process in her fight for justice. After screening the film’s trailer, an engaging interaction session was held where students asked questions about filmmaking, career guidance in cinema, inspiration behind socially relevant films, and their impact on society.

Responding to queries, Anubhav Sinha encouraged students to pursue filmmaking with clarity of purpose and social responsibility. Taapsee Pannu spoke about choosing strong, socially driven female characters and urged young women to be aware and assertive in shaping societal change. Kani Kusruti emphasized the emotional depth required while portraying roles dealing with social injustice and said such films help create awareness.
