PowerGrid Eastern Region-I Organizes Inter-Regional Cultural Program

Patna, January 3, 2025: PowerGrid Eastern Region-I hosted an inter-regional cultural program at the Shastri Nagar Energy Auditorium in Patna. Teams from New Ranchi, Ara, Gaya, Bihar Sharif, Jamshedpur substations, and the Regional Headquarters (RHQ) in Patna participated in the event. The program commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Mr. Arindam Sensharma, Executive Director, Eastern Region-I.

The six teams presented captivating performances, delighting the audience with their creative themes. New Ranchi’s team showcased their act on the theme “PowerGrid: Pride of the Nation.” Ara’s team highlighted “The Changing Society of India,” while Gaya’s team focused on “Society’s Atrocities on Women and Their Empowerment through PowerGrid.” Bihar Sharif’s team presented “The History Behind India’s Name,” and Jamshedpur’s team performed on the theme “Land of Martyrs: The Pride of Jharkhand.” The RHQ Patna team staged a dance drama based on “Manikarnika.”

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from PowerGrid Eastern Region-I employees and their families, who appreciated the cultural performances.

Competition Results

1. First Place: New Ranchi (Bedo)
2. Second Place: Bihar Sharif
3. Third Place: RHQ Patna
4. Fourth Place: Gaya

The program successfully highlighted diverse themes while fostering camaraderie and teamwork among employees from various locations.
