Patna, January 4, 2025: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) successfully conducted the re-examination for the 70th Combined Preliminary Competitive Exam today across 22 examination centers in Patna under strict supervision and a peaceful environment. Speaking about the arrangements, DM Singh stated, “All officials, including magistrates and police personnel, were directed to maintain the highest level of vigilance and ensure compliance with BPSC’s guidelines. The entire process was managed smoothly, ensuring that candidates experienced a well-organized and hassle-free examination.”
Prior to the commencement of the examination, the DM and SSP visited prominent centers, including Sri Chandra High Secondary School, Kurji; Bankipur Government Girls High School, Bankipur; BN Collegiate Higher Secondary (Plus 2) School, Bankipur; and PN Anglo Sanskrit Higher Secondary School, Naya Tola.
During the inspections, the officials interacted with candidates, seeking their feedback on the arrangements. Many candidates expressed satisfaction with the systematic and effective management of the examination.
The candidates’ entry and exit from the centers were managed efficiently, with no reported incidents of overcrowding or delays. At the Bapu Examination Complex, a notable improvement was observed in attendance compared to the previous examination held on December 13, 2024.
A total of 5,943 candidates appeared for the exam at the Bapu Examination Complex, compared to 5,671 who submitted their answer sheets in the earlier attempt. Across all centers, the re-examination saw a significant increase in attendance, reflecting the trust and confidence instilled by the administration’s meticulous preparations.
To prevent any malpractices, the district administration ensured the deployment of police personnel at all examination centers. Each center had dedicated invigilators, static observers, and on-site magistrates to oversee the conduct of the examination. Strict adherence to BPSC’s guidelines was maintained at all times. The DM emphasized, “The district administration is committed to maintaining the integrity of competitive examinations. The cooperation and vigilance of all officials ensured a clean, fair, and transparent process.”
DM Singh further stated, “The successful conduct of today’s re-examination was a result of the collective efforts of the officials, invigilators, and law enforcement personnel. I extend my gratitude to everyone involved for their dedication and diligence.”
The DM congratulated all stakeholders, including the candidates, examination center superintendents, invigilators, police personnel, and administrative staff, for the seamless execution of the examination. “The BPSC’s directives were followed meticulously, and the re-examination was conducted successfully. This would not have been possible without the cooperation of all involved,” he remarked.
