Under the leadership of Purnia MP Pappu Yadav, members of the Chhatra Yuva Shakti organization successfully conducted a statewide Bihar bandh today. Supporters, led by Premchand Singh, blocked Boring Road, while Rajesh Pappu led the protest on Ashok Rajpath, and Raju Danveer managed the closure of Rajendra Nagar and Kankarbagh.
During the demonstration, several prominent activists, including Premchand Singh, Rajesh Pappu, Manish Kumar, Awadhesh Lalu, Azad Chand, Faizan Ahmed, Nitish Singh, Amarnath, Ajmal, and Shantanu Shekhar, were detained by police and taken to Kotwali police station.
Purnia MP Pappu Yadav took to the streets of Patna, wrapped in a shroud (kafan), along with thousands of supporters to enforce the bandh. Addressing the supporters, he accused the Nitish government of driving the public to a state of despair. He stated, “The public, fed up with the Nitish government, has given its verdict—‘Ram Naam Satya Hai’ for this administration.”
Referring to the ongoing issue of paper leaks, Pappu Yadav declared, “When the careers of children are being destroyed, it is time for this government to meet the same fate. The students and youth of this state will ensure the downfall of this administration.” He also vowed to continue the agitation until paper leaks in Bihar are completely eradicated.
Pappu Yadav warned that if no action is taken against education mafias and those involved in question paper leaks, he would not allow Parliament to function. He thanked the people of Bihar for supporting the bandh and urged them to continue backing the movement.
The protest was supported by key leaders, including Raghavendra Kushwaha, Premchand Singh, Rajesh Ranjan Pappu, Abhijeet Singh, Manjay Lal Rai, Raju Danveer, Harendra Mishra, Rajiv Mishra, Dileep Rajak, Awadhesh Lalu, Nitish Singh, and many others, alongside thousands of activists.
