Inauguration of New Terminal at Jayprakash Narayan International Airport, Patna; Foundation Laid for New Civil Enclave at Bihta Airport

Patna, May 29, 2025:
Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today inaugurated the new terminal building at Jayprakash Narayan International Airport, Patna, and laid the foundation stone for a proposed civil enclave at Bihta Airport. On this occasion, the Governor of Bihar, Shri Arif Mohammed Khan, and Chief Minister Shri Nitish Kumar were also present alongside the Prime Minister.

During the inauguration ceremony, the Prime Minister formally opened the new terminal building by cutting the ribbon and unveiling the plaque at the Patna airport. He also laid the foundation stone for the civil enclave that will be developed at Bihta Airport.

The construction of the new terminal is expected to strengthen air connectivity in the state, provide a boost to the tourism sector, and accelerate economic growth and overall development in Bihar.

Earlier, at Patna Airport, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar warmly welcomed Prime Minister Narendra Modi by presenting him with a bouquet.
