The celebrations began with the symbolic release of two pigeons into the sky by Dr. Sister M. Tanisha A.C., Principal of Patna Women’s College, and Dr. Sister Celine Crasta A.C., Vice-Principal. The gesture symbolised freedom, peace, energy and the spirit of sports.

An energetic aerobics session was subsequently organised for the students. The session, performed to lively Brazilian music, encouraged students to stay physically active and highlighted the importance of fitness and a healthy lifestyle.
To make the celebrations more engaging, a series of fun sporting activities were organised for the teaching staff. Teachers enthusiastically participated in tug-of-war, passing-the-chair and chain games. The activities promoted teamwork, coordination and healthy competition while creating an atmosphere of fun and camaraderie.
The programme concluded with the inspiring message, “Fitness ki Dose, Ek Ghante Roz” (A dose of fitness, one hour every day). The celebrations highlighted the importance of fitness, discipline, teamwork, coordination and an active lifestyle, bringing students and teachers together in the true spirit of National Sports Day.
