Patna, January 5, 2026:
Patna Women’s College (Autonomous), through its Centre for National and International Collaborations, successfully organized an International Students Exchange Programme on January 5, 2026, in collaboration with Handong Global University, South Korea, and King Sejong Institute, Patna. The initiative marked a significant step towards strengthening India–South Korea academic and cultural ties.

The programme was designed to promote global academic collaboration, enhance cross-cultural understanding, and provide students with meaningful international exposure. The event began with a warm welcome to the visiting delegation by Mr. Alok John, Dean – National, International Collaborations and Consultancy Services (NICCS), Patna Women’s College. In his address, he highlighted the growing importance of international partnerships in higher education and encouraged students to actively participate in global learning opportunities that nurture global citizenship, mutual respect, and cultural sensitivity.



The exchange programme was further enriched by the presence of Ms. Grace Lee, Coordinator, King Sejong Institute, Patna, along with faculty members from Handong Global University, Mr. Taehyun Kim and Ms. Suhyun Kim. The South Korean delegation was accompanied by seven students from Handong Global University, whose participation added academic depth and cultural vibrancy to the event.

A key highlight of the programme was a series of colourful music and dance performances presented by students, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of India and South Korea. These performances symbolized cultural harmony and reinforced the spirit of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.


The International Students Exchange Programme at Patna Women’s College concluded on an inspiring note, reaffirming the institution’s commitment to international collaboration, academic excellence, and global engagement. The event stands as another milestone in Patna Women’s College’s ongoing efforts to position itself as a hub for international education and cross-border academic partnerships.
