The Placement and Career Counselling Cell at Patna Women’s College organized a two-day
Student Development Workshop titled “Invigorate 1.0,” aimed at infusing life and energy into
professional skills, preparing the students for the competitive world of placements. On the
first day, Mr. Alok John, Dean – National, International Collaborations, and Consultancy
Services, delivered an inspiring welcome address, setting the tone for the event.
The
esteemed resource persons for the day were Dr. Sahar Rahman, Head, Department of English,
and Dr. Bhawna Sinha, Head, Department of Computer Applications (MCA), Patna Women’s
College. On the second day, the workshop commenced with the welcome address by Mr.
Adweetiya Sinha, Assistant Professor, Department of Political Science, after which Dr.
Tauseef Hassan, Head, Department of Communicative English and Media Studies, and Dr.
Devina Krishna, Assistant Professor, Department of English started with the sessions on soft
skills and how to face Personal Interviews respectively.
Their expertise and guidance are
invaluable as the students embark on the journey of self-improvement and professional
growth. Special acknowledgment goes to the diligent coordination efforts of the Placement
Core Committee members, Mr. Sumeet Ranjan, Mr. Adweetiya Sinha, Mr. Gautam Saurabh,
and Mr. Rajeev Ranjan, whose dedication ensured the smooth execution of today’s event. The
workshop delved deeper into CV writing, CV designing, communication skills, and personal
interview techniques. The aim was to invigorate their skills and pave the way for a bright
future together.
