The Department of History at Patna Women’s College proudly organized an exhibition
highlighting Bihar’s cultural richness titled “Darpan Bihar Ka.” The exhibition took
viewers on a visual journey through the state’s development, showcasing its
monuments and recent progress. A focal point of the exhibition was “Zaika e Hind,”
which explored Bihar’s diverse culinary heritage, offering an intriguing exploration of
India’s various culinary traditions.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from fourth and sixth-semester students of the
History Department, aligning with the department’s curriculum. Additionally, “Zaika e
Hind” served as a competition, with Punjab, Kashmir, and Rajasthan emerging as
winners.
Dr. Sister Celine Crasta A.C., Head of the History Department, expressed excitement
about showcasing Bihar’s vibrant culture and heritage through the exhibition,
emphasizing its significance in highlighting the state’s legacy and the students’
creativity.
The exhibition served not only as an educational initiative but also as a celebration of
Bihar’s cultural revival, reflecting the college’s dedication to nurturing a deeper
understanding of the region’s history and traditions among students and the broader
