PWC organized an Interactive session on human trafficking

On the 13th of January 2024, Patna Women’s College (Autonomous) organized an interactive
session involving both students and faculty members on the critical subject of human
trafficking. The focal point of the discussion was the novel titled ‘I Kick and I Fly’ authored
by Professor Ruchira Gupta. The event took place at Veronica Auditorium, commencing at 11
A.M. The audience comprised students from the fourth and sixth semesters across various
departments of the college.

The session was inaugurated with a warm welcome extended to the esteemed guests, Hon’ble
Mr. Justice Dr. Anshuman Pandey,Sitting Judge ,Patna High Court and Hon’ble Mrs. Justice
Anjana Mishra,Judicial Member,Armed Forces Tribunal and Former Justice,Patna High
Court by Dr. Sister M. Rashmi A.C., Principal, Patna Women’s College. This was followed
by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp

Dr. Sister M. Rashmi A.C. then addressed the
gathering, emphasizing the significance of active participation in the interactive session.

Subsequently, Professor Ruchira Gupta commenced the reading session of her novel. Following the reading, a panel discussion ensued, providing an opportunity for participants
to engage in discourse. This was succeeded by an interactive question and answer session with the students. The session concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Advocate
Manisha Singh, Patna High Court.
