Tej Pratap Yadav released the crime list

In a recent social media post, Tej Pratap Yadav, Bihar’s Environment Minister and son of former Chief Ministers Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi, expressed deep concern over the escalating crime rates in Bihar. He highlighted a series of violent incidents that occurred in January 2025, criticizing the ruling NDA coalition for the deteriorating law and order situation.

Yadav’s post enumerated numerous incidents, including multiple shootings, stabbings, and other violent crimes across various districts of Bihar. He emphasized that such a surge in violent activities reflects poorly on the state’s governance and the effectiveness of its law enforcement agencies.

This public outcry isn’t the first instance where Yadav has voiced his concerns regarding the state’s security situation. Previously, he has been vocal about crime incidents, asserting that the youth are not secure and challenging the Nitish Kumar-led government over these issues.
