Viksit Bharat@2047 is the vision of Government of India to make India a developed nation by
2047, the 100 th year of its independence. The vision encompasses various aspects of
development, including economic growth, social progress, environmental sustainability, and good governance. As per the guidelines issued by the honourable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, Patna
Women’s College organized a Two-week long campaign of Programmes which will involve an
orientation programme ; A PowerPoint presentation competition ; An inter-departmental Poster
Making Competition ; A Hackathon and A Micro-Essay Writing Competition.
Today, On December 19 th 2023, Tuesday, A Hackathon was conducted in the Mother Veronica
Excellence and Innovation Centre (MVIEC) from 2 P.M. onwards. The entire event was
conducted in two shifts. The first shift was a discussion round which was conducted between the students where they prepared their presentation and had a detailed discussion on the issues that they are going to talk about and the second shift was the presentation round where the participants presented their ideas in front of the judges.
The respectable jury members of the competition were, Mr. Alok John, Dean, National International Collaborations and Consultancy Services; Dr. Soofia Fatima, Dean & Head Department of Commerce and Dr. Zareen Fatima, Head, Department of Economics. The entire event was well moderated by Anjali Rajshree, Jt.
General Secretary, Student Council 2023-24 and the Vote of Thanks was proposed by Ishita
Upadhyay, Vice Premier, Student Council 2023-24. The entire event was conducted under the
supervision of Mr. Adweetiya Sinha, Assistant Professor, Department of Political Science and
Nodal Officer, Viksit Bharat@2047 and Mr. Gautam Saurabh, Assistant Professor, Department
of Commerce.
