Republic Day Celebrations at International School, Patna showcased patriotism and unity on26th January 2026.

On the morning of 26th January, the International School fraternity gathered at school
campus and proudly announced its vibrant Republic Day celebrations, fostering a sense of
patriotism and unity among students. The event, held on this occasion was a spectacle of
cultural diversity and national pride.

The day’s celebrations commenced with the unfurling of the national flag by Principal –
Director – Mrs. F. Hasan followed by the singing of the National Anthem by the school
choir. The school echoed with patriotic fervor as students, teachers, and staff participated in
various activities showcasing the rich heritage of our nation.

Mrs. F. Hasan , Principal – Director , in her address extended her greetings to all on the
auspicious occasion of republic day and said, “I’m reminded of Shree B.R. Ambedkar
quote that We are Indians firstly and lastly.” On the occasion , our Guest Invitee and proud
parent, Md Sadique Alam , Commissioner-cum-Director of Fisheries, Special Secretary of
Fisheries and Animal Resource Development Department and Managing Director of Odisha
Pisciculture Development Corporation, Govt of Odisha was also present.
Students presented mesmerizing cultural songs and dance performances emphasizing the
country’s unity in diversity and the need to help India grow.
Engaging speeches both in Hindi and English languages on the significance of Republic Day,
democracy, and the role of citizens were conducted, encouraging critical thinking among
students.
A spectacular march past by students, of ICSE and CBSE wings led by the school’s cabinet
displayed discipline and dedication, instilling a sense of responsibility.

Principal- Mrs. Sayeed Nahid Alam , expressed immense pride in the students’ enthusiasm
and dedication towards making the Republic Day celebrations memorable. The event served
as a reminder of the values embedded in the Constitution and the importance of preserving
our democratic principles.
International School extended its gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the
Republic Day celebrations, making it a day to remember.
The vote of thanks was presented by the Coordinator, CBSE WING , Chhavi. The
celebrations concluded with school song followed by distribution of toffees to all.
