ANNUAL SPORTS MEET 2024 ‘KOLAHAL’ CELEBRATED AT INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, PATNA
Patna, January 12, 2024 The dynamic city of Patna was alive with the fervour of
athleticism and sportsmanship during exultant celebration of The Annual Sports
Meet ‘Kolahal at International School, Patna.The sports meet was dedicated to
honoring the spirit of sports through a series of accelerating events solidifying
Patna’s commitment to foster sports and fitness across its populace.
The day was marked by an array of events that showcased the enthusiasm for
sports and fitness. The chief guests of the day were
Dr. Sayeedul Hassan, Dr. Allamul Hasan, Mrs. Subia Hasan Sadique and
Director Mrs.Farhat Hassan. Two other guest invitees were Mr. Chandan Kumar
and Mr. Sabitabh Agarwal. Our chief guest Dr. Sayeedul Hassan added to his
words saying that Sports is means of Holistic development and social harmony.
Celebration began with an opening address by Principal Mrs.Sayeed Nahid Alam
followed by an exhilarating football match between students of international
school ICSE and international school CBSE.
A remarkable highlight of the day was the launch and inauguration of the
football and cricket turf in presence of the two National coaches Uttam Kumar
and Ranvijay Kumar in the premises of International school.
The sports meet consisted of different events like Track races, Spoon and Marble
race, Balance race, sack race, blind fold race, Relay race for senior boys and girls
and much more.
For the Teachers and the Parents of the school an event named ‘Tug of War’ was
also arranged.
An award ceremony was meticulously organised to honour the athletes
showcasing their commitment to the events success.
Participants were from all the four houses ; Gandhi House, Tagore House, Azad
House and Nehru house.
Azad House grabbed the 1 st Position with 155 points.Tagore House and Gandhi
House were 2nd having a tie.
As the Sun set the day was marked by camaraderie, competition and jubilation at
International School,Patna.
