Khagaria, Bihar: In a major crackdown on arms trafficking, Khagaria Police arrested three individuals, including a woman, and seized a large cache of weapons, ammunition, and other illegal items from a grocery store in Charkmania village under Beldaur Police Station. The operation was conducted under the guidance of Khagaria Superintendent of Police, with the joint efforts of Beldaur Police and the District Intelligence Unit (DIU), Khagaria.
Incident Details: Acting on a tip-off, the police raided the grocery store owned by Pappu Patel, where they discovered 20 country-made pistols, 79 live cartridges, 3.4 kg of marijuana, and 10 liters of country liquor. The accused were using the grocery business as a front for their illegal activities. The arrested individuals include Pappu Patel, his son Aditya Kumar alias Pintoo, and his wife Chanchal Devi alias Nutan Devi.
