Currently, Deepak Singh is making headlines with his highly anticipated Bhojpuri film ‘Kariyatthi’, directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Nitin Neera Chandra and produced by actress-producer Neetu Chandra Srivastava. In the film, Deepak plays the role of an honest teacher, ‘Jagdish Dubey’, a respected and idealistic figure in society. However, an unexpected twist in the story takes the audience by surprise.

Speaking about the film, Deepak Singh shared, “‘Kariyatthi’ is not just a film; it is a world-class cinema that brings an international issue to the Bhojpuri audience.” He praised director Nitin Chandra, saying, “He is a visionary director who understands his craft well. His planning and direction style reflect in every frame of his films.”

A Remarkable Film Journey

Deepak Singh’s acting career spans across Tamil, Hindi, and Bhojpuri cinema. He has a black belt in martial arts and received formal acting training from Anupam Kher’s ‘Actor Prepares’ school.

He made his film debut in 2008 with the Tamil movie ‘AEGAN’ and later entered the Bhojpuri industry in 2010 with ‘Deswa’, where he played the role of Shankar Pandey. The film was widely appreciated and became the first Bhojpuri film to be screened at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa.
