India Defeated Pakistan by Six Wickets in Champions Trophy 2025
Dubai: In a big match of Champions Trophy 2025, India defeated Pakistan by six wickets in a one-sided game. With this win, India has almost confirmed its place in the semi-finals. The match was played at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, where the Indian team outperformed their arch-rivals in all areas.

Pakistan Struggled to Score Runs
Pakistan batted first but could not play well. Indian bowlers kept the pressure on them. Saud Shakeel was the top scorer for Pakistan, making 62 runs off 76 balls, while captain Mohammad Rizwan played slowly and scored 46 runs in 77 balls.
Pakistan’s batters could not form strong partnerships and the team was all out for 241 runs in 48.3 overs. Among Indian bowlers, Kuldeep Yadav was the best, taking 3 wickets for 40 runs. Hardik Pandya also bowled well and dismissed Babar Azam (23) and Shakeel.
India’s Easy Victory
India needed 242 runs to win, and they chased it comfortably. Captain Rohit Sharma started aggressively, scoring 20 runs off 15 balls, but was dismissed by Shaheen Afridi.
After that, Shubman Gill (46 runs in 52 balls) and Shreyas Iyer (56 runs in 67 balls) played well. The star of the match was Virat Kohli, who stayed unbeaten with 100 runs in 111 balls and led India to victory in 42.3 overs.
Indian Bowlers Shine
India’s bowlers played a key role in the win. Kuldeep Yadav’s spin bowling troubled Pakistani batters, while Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj, and Hardik Pandya bowled with good control. Ravindra Jadeja also helped by stopping the flow of runs.
India Close to Semi-Finals
With this victory, India is now very close to the semi-finals of Champions Trophy 2025. The team is playing great cricket and is a strong contender for the title. On the other hand, Pakistan must win all their remaining matches to stay in the tournament.
