Minister Prem Kumar Honours Senior Journalist Sanjeet Mishra and Others at Bihar Education Summit 2025

Patna, Bihar – The second edition of the Bihar Education Summit and Bihar Shiksha Ratna Samman was held with great enthusiasm at Hotel Maurya, Patna, under the joint organization of Eventzic Media and Media Outdoor. The event witnessed the presence of several dignitaries and was inaugurated by Hon’ble Minister Prem Kumar, Department of Cooperation, Government of Bihar. Among the chief guests were MLC Anamika Patel and Mayor of Patna Sita Sahu.

The ceremonial lamp-lighting was performed jointly by Minister Prem Kumar, Dr. Kumar Rajesh Ranjan and Dr. Amrita Sinha from Satyadev Super Specialty Hospital, Shishir Kumar, Rana Rahul Singh (Managing Director, Scholar Abode School), Smriti Rawat (Academic Director), Nitin Kumar (Director, Kiran Automobiles), Shatrughan Chaurasia (Director, Hobby Walls Ice Cream), Amardeep Jha Gautam (Director, Elite Institute), and other esteemed guests including delegates from G Note University. The event was coordinated by Chandan Raj, one of the chief organizers.

A highlight of the ceremony was the felicitation of senior journalist Sanjeet Mishra, currently managing media and PR for Bihar Police. Mishra has served in senior editorial roles at leading publications like iNext, Hindustan, Prabhat Khabar, and Dainik Jagran for nearly 18 years.

During the inaugural speech, Minister Prem Kumar praised Bihar as the “land of the gods” and emphasized its long-standing contribution to education and enlightenment. “Bihar has always led the way in showing the path of truth, as envisioned by our sages and saints,” he remarked.

MLC Anamika Patel underscored the importance of women’s education, stating, “When a woman is educated, an entire family becomes educated. It’s heartening to see growing awareness and progress among women in Bihar today.”

Mayor Sita Sahu extended her best wishes to all attendees and honorees.

Organizer Chandan Raj expressed that the prime goal of the summit was to recognize and encourage individuals making significant contributions in the field of education, providing them with a platform and the recognition they deserve to inspire further service to society and the state.

As part of the event, numerous educators, professionals, and social contributors were honored with the Bihar Shiksha Ratna Samman.

The summit was supported by several sponsors and partners including Scholar Abode School, Satyadev Super Specialty Hospital, Gonit University, Wilson, Hobby Walls Ice Cream, BMD Group, Kiran Automobiles, and Jagmohan Jewellers, among others.

The event was marked by the presence of many eminent personalities from across the country and the state, all coming together to celebrate and uplift the spirit of education in Bihar.
