Notorious Criminal Anish Kumar Alias Aman Kumar Arrested Along with Three Associates

Patna and Bhojpur district’s notorious and wanted criminal, Anish Kumar alias Aman Kumar, along with his three associates, was arrested with illegal firearms.

Happy Hours is a restaurant located in Mithapur, Patna, Bihar.

Anish Kumar, a member and shooter of Bharat Kumar’s gang, hails from the Naubatpur police station area of Patna district. Alongside him, Daya Nand Dubey, Adarsh Kumar Sharma, and Krishna Murari Kumar, who were involved in extortion and illegal firearm activities in several areas of Patna and Bhojpur districts, were apprehended with illegal pistols.

On July 16, 2024, a special team of Bihar STF received information that the notorious criminal Bharat Kumar, who has a bounty of INR 2 lakh, along with his associates, was planning to kill an individual in Bhojpur for extortion. Acting on this tip-off, the STF’s special team raided the Anait Thakurbari area under Nawada police station in Bhojpur district.

During the raid, the team arrested the following notorious and wanted criminals, who are associates of Bharat Kumar:

Daya Nand Dubey, son of Vishwanath Dubey, resident of Mahuar, Bihta police station, Patna district.
Adarsh Kumar Sharma, son of Neeraj Sharma, resident of Nisar Pura, Vikram police station, Patna district.
Anish Kumar alias Aman Kumar, son of Sunil Kumar, resident of Barkhudar Chak, Piplava Naubatpur police station, Patna district.
Krishna Murari Kumar, son of Sunil Singh, resident of Mahuar, Bihta police station, Patna district.

These criminals were involved in the shooting and murder of Biratan Ram of Bakri village under Udvantnagar police station in Bhojpur district on July 4, 2024. In this connection, a case (Udvantnagar PS Case No. 287/24) was registered under various sections of the IPC and SC/ST Act, including sections 191(2), 191(3), 190, 126(2), 115(2), 109(1), 103(2) BNS, and 27 Arms Act.

Several cases of murder and extortion are registered against these criminals in various police stations across Patna and Bhojpur districts. The following illegal firearms and items were recovered from their possession:

Three country-made pistols
One country-made revolver
Fourteen cartridges
Five pistol magazines
Three empty shells
Eight mobile phones
Three routers

This successful operation by the Bihar STF has dealt a significant blow to the criminal activities in Patna and Bhojpur districts, ensuring a step towards a safer environment for the residents.
