After a 25-year , ‘The Great Ajanta Circus’ has made a triumphant return to Patna’s Pataliputra Maidan, captivating audiences with its vibrant performances. The grand inauguration took place on February 16, 2024, led by Dr. Vishwaratan of Pataliputra Cooperative Housing Construction Limited. The circus management expressed that this event offers an excellent entertainment opportunity for children, youth, and families to enjoy together.

This season, ‘The Great Ajanta Circus’ presents a series of unique acts and thrilling stunts designed to mesmerize spectators. The circus has scheduled three shows daily at 1:00 PM, 4:00 PM, and 7:00 PM. Ticket prices are set at ₹100, ₹200, ₹300, and ₹400, ensuring accessibility for a wide range of attendees.
With a legacy spanning over five decades, ‘The Great Ajanta Circus’ continues to entertain audiences nationwide. Currently, a dedicated team of 150 members, including 60 performers, is committed to delivering exceptional shows. The circus is slated to remain in Patna for a 45-day engagement, promising a plethora of exhilarating performances.
Chief guest Rai Ajit Prasad emphasized the significance of this event, noting that after a quarter-century, both children and youth have the chance to experience and appreciate traditional forms of entertainment like the circus. He encouraged the community to seize this rare opportunity to witness and understand this cultural spectacle.
The return of the circus has sparked enthusiasm and joy among Patna’s residents. Families and friends are flocking to Pataliputra Maidan in large numbers to partake in the festivities.
