Patna Women’s College’s Department of Mass Communication organized a two-day Media Exhibition themed ‘Print to Pixel,’ celebrating the transformation of media from traditional print to the dynamic digital era. The exhibition, which commenced today, serves as an insightful journey through the evolution of mass communication, highlighting significant milestones in the industry.
The event was inaugurated by Dr. Sister M. Rashmi A.C., Principal of Patna Women’s College, who performed the ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially open the exhibition. She then toured the various sections of the exhibition, admiring the innovative models and displays crafted by students. These exhibits creatively depicted the shift from conventional print media to modern digital platforms, offering visitors a comprehensive view of media’s progressive journey.
The exhibition attracted enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members alike. Professors from various departments visited the event, appreciating the effort and creativity put forth by the students. Students from Semester II, IV, VI, and the PG diploma program played an integral role in organizing and presenting the exhibition. Their hard work and dedication were evident in the meticulously curated displays. The event was conducted under the guidance of Head of Department, Ms. Roma, along with faculty members Mr. Ajay Kumar Jha, Mr. Prashant Ravi, Dr. Aprajita Pathak, Mr. Gaurav Aranya, and Ms. Manya, who mentored students throughout the process.
