Patna, May 7: A massive crowd gathered at the historic Gandhi Maidan on Wednesday as the oath-taking ceremony of the newly appointed ministers was held in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The event turned into a major political and public spectacle, with enthusiastic citizens from across the city arriving to witness the occasion.

The Prime Minister received a grand and energetic welcome from the people of Patna. Roads leading to Gandhi Maidan were decorated with banners, flags, and welcome arches, while supporters gathered in large numbers waving party flags and chanting slogans. Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary accompanied the Prime Minister during the ceremony, where the newly appointed ministers took their oath of office and secrecy before senior government officials, party leaders, and invited guests.

Security arrangements around Gandhi Maidan and nearby areas remained extremely tight, with multiple layers of police deployment and traffic diversions put in place to manage the large turnout. Despite the heavy crowd, the event concluded peacefully and smoothly.

Speaking on the occasion, several supporters said the Prime Minister’s presence had created excitement among the public and boosted the morale of party workers. Political observers also viewed the ceremony as an important moment for Bihar’s evolving political landscape ahead of upcoming political challenges.
