PWC hosts lecture on “INDIA’S ENVIRONMENTAL LEADERSHIP AND VISION” in colloboration with ICSSR,New Delhi
[Patna, India] — Patna Women’s College, in partnership with the Indian Council of Social
Science Research (ICSSR), New Delhi, proudly organized a thought-provoking lecture on
“India’s Environmental Leadership and Vision” as part of the “Amrit Kaal Vimarsh: Viksit
Bharat@2047″ series. The event took place on December 5th, 2023, at the Veronica
Auditorium, drawing an eager audience of environmentally conscious individuals, students,
academicians, and dignitaries.
The keynote address was delivered by Ms. Sangeeta Godbole (Rtd), IRS, Former Principal
Commissioner of Income Tax, and Former Director of Services Export Promotion Council.
Ms. Godbole, renowned for her expertise and insightful perspectives, captivated the audience
with her profound insights into India’s environmental trajectory and its vision for a
sustainable future.
The session was skillfully moderated by Alok John, Dean – National, International
Collaborations, and Consultancy Services, who adeptly navigated the discourse, ensuring an

Dr. Sister M. Rashmi A.C., Principal of Patna Women’s College, delivered the welcome
address, emphasizing the critical importance of environmental consciousness in shaping a
