Rajgir, Bihar to Host 2nd Women’s Kabaddi World Cup 2025

Rajgir, Bihar: The International Kabaddi Federation (IKF) has officially announced that the 2nd Women’s Kabaddi World Cup 2025 will be hosted in Rajgir, Bihar (India) from June 1 to June 13, 2025. The prestigious event has been allotted to the Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India.

IKF has extended invitations to all affiliated National Kabaddi Associations/Federations to participate in the championship. However, only IKF-affiliated teams will be eligible to compete in the tournament.

Tournament Guidelines and Eligibility

  • Weight Limit: Players must have a body weight of 75 kg or below.
  • Team Composition: Each team can register 14 players, 2 coaches, 1 manager, and 1 international technical official, making a total of 18 members.
  • Playing Surface & Attire: Matches will be played on synthetic mats, and players must wear playing shoes; otherwise, they will not be allowed to participate.
  • Entry Form Submission: The team’s entry form must be signed by the President or Secretary and carried to the venue.
  • Deadline for Entry Confirmation: Teams must confirm their participation via email by March 31, 2025.

Disciplinary Regulations

  • The IKF Executive Board will oversee disciplinary actions against any player or team violating rules or engaging in misconduct. Penalties may include suspension or fines.
  • Teams can file a protest within one hour after the match by paying a fee of $100 USD.

Accommodation, Food, and Transportation

  • The Organizing Committee will provide free accommodation and meals for all 14 players, 2 coaches, 1 manager, and 1 international technical official (total 18 members).
  • Local transportation from the airport to the accommodation and venue will be arranged by the organizers.

General Instructions for Teams

  1. Each team must bring two national flags and an audio clip of their national anthem for ceremonies.
  2. Medical and first-aid facilities will be available at the competition venue.
  3. IKF, organizers, and sponsors will not be liable for any injuries, losses, or accidents during the championship.
  4. IKF/Organizing Committee reserves the right to modify rules or schedules as needed.
  5. Teams must report one hour before their scheduled match at the warm-up area.
  6. Team managers must submit player lists 30 minutes before the match to the referee.
  7. Players must wear proper playing kits and shoes as per IKF rules.
  8. Matches will be conducted on Kabaddi synthetic mats.
