The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Patna, successfully hosted its annual Graduation Showcase 2025 on June 6 at the institute campus. Hon’ble Union Minister of Textiles, Shri Giriraj Singh, graced the event as the chief guest, encouraging the graduating students and appreciating their creative and innovative work.
NIFT Patna Director Professor Rahul Bhatnagar praised the hard work and creativity of the students and extended heartfelt wishes for their future endeavors. This year, 192 students from NIFT successfully completed their academic journey and presented their final graduation projects as part of the showcase.
The Graduation Showcase 2025 featured a diverse range of design presentations from different departments at NIFT Patna, highlighting key areas of the fashion industry, textile innovation, and fashion communication.
The event concluded with a spectacular fashion show titled “Fashionala”, where students showcased their final collections on the ramp. The show highlighted talent, craftsmanship, and fashion-forward designs. Outstanding students across various categories were awarded for their excellence and creativity.
Union Minister Giriraj Singh remarked, “Design, innovation, and brand value are the demands of today’s era. The projects presented by NIFT students reflect not only creativity but also the potential to contribute significantly to India’s fashion and textile industry.”
The Graduation Showcase 2025 served as a powerful platform for young designers to exhibit their creative portfolios, fashion design skills, textile innovation, and industry readiness. The event successfully demonstrated a seamless blend of creativity, craftsmanship, and technical expertise—highlighting the emerging future of Indian fashion.
