The ceremony saw the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP president J.P. Nadda, Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) chief Chirag Paswan, and several other top leaders of the NDA. Thousands of citizens, along with a large number of NDA workers, gathered at Gandhi Maidan, making the event politically significant and powerful in scale.

27 Ministers Sworn In, NDA Forms a Broad-Based Government

In contrast, the opposition Mahagathbandhan secured only 35 seats, which proved to be a major setback for them. The results clearly indicate that voters chose development, stability, and good governance.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Nitish Kumar through a social media post immediately after the swearing-in.
