Kevadia, Gujarat, October 31, 2024 – In a proud moment for Bihar, the Bihar Police contingent delivered a commendable performance at the National Unity Day Parade held at the Statue of Unity to mark the 10th National Unity Day. The parade honored the legacy of India’s first Home Minister, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, and celebrated the spirit of national unity.
Led by Deputy Superintendent of Police Aman, from the Cyber Crime Division of Saran district, the Bihar Police contingent showcased exceptional discipline, hard work, and coordination. The contingent consisted of 63 members, including 38 personnel from the Bihar Special Task Force, eight reserve officers, and 16 support staff. Their synchronized march won them widespread appreciation.
The parade featured 16 contingents from various national security and police agencies, including the Border Security Force (BSF) and National Security Guard (NSG). Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the event and took the salute, commending the dedication of forces like Bihar Police toward upholding unity and security in India.
