Chief Minister Attends 358th Prakash Parv of Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj

Patna, January 6, 2025: Chief Minister Nitish Kumar participated in the celebrations of the 358th Prakash Parv of Dashmesh Pita Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj at the Takht Shri Harimandir Ji Sahib in Patna Sahib. The Chief Minister paid obeisance at the Takht Shri Harimandir Ji and prayed for peace, prosperity, and well-being of the state.

During the event, Jathedars from different parts of the country, along with members of the Shri Harimandir Ji Management Committee, welcomed the Chief Minister with gifts, including a sword, ceremonial attire, saropa, and mementos. Following this, Nitish Kumar also visited Gurudwara Bal Lila Maini Sangat, where he again offered prayers and sought blessings for the state’s progress and harmony.

Senior officials, including Chief Secretary Amrit Lal Meena, Director General of Police Vinay Kumar, Chief Minister’s Principal Secretary Dr. S. Siddharth, and the CM’s Special Officer Gopal Singh, were also in attendance.

Officials and Devotees Mark the Occasion

The event was graced by divisional and district-level authorities, including Patna Divisional Commissioner Mayank Barbadé, Inspector General of Police (Patna Zone) Garima Malik, District Magistrate Chandra Shekhar Singh, and Senior Superintendent of Police Avakash Kumar.

The gathering saw a large turnout of Sikh devotees, volunteers (sevadars), and other dignitaries who joined in paying homage to the spiritual leader and celebrating his legacy.
