पटना, 31 दिसम्बर : ठाकुर प्रसाद सिंह कॉलेज, पटना में भूगोल विभाग के स्नातक द्वितीय एवं तृतीये वर्ग के छात्र-छात्राओं ने विभागीय प्रोजेक्ट के लिए क्षेत्र अध्ययन के अंतर्गत नालंदन एवं राजगीर की यात्रा की | इस भ्रमण दस दौरान छात्रों ने इन जगहों की स्थालाकृति , जलवायु, वनस्पति, चट्टानों के प्रकार आदि की भौगोलिक जानकारी के साथ-साथ मगध साम्राज्य, बौद्ध-जैन धर्म और महाभारत से जुड़ी महत्पूर्ण जानकारी प्राप्त की | विभाग की डॉ. अनीता सिंह के नेत्तृत्व में 65 छात्रों ने इसमें भाग लिया उन्होंने कहा के हमारे कॉलेज में विद्यार्थियों के अध्ययन में सैधांतिक के साथ-साथ व्यावहारिक कौशल पर भी ध्यान दिया जाता है, ताकि उनका सम्पूर्ण विकाश हो सके | इस यात्रा में छात्रों ने राजगीर की पहाड़ियां, बौद्ध शांति स्तूप, नालंदन विश्वद्यालय के खंडहर समेत अन्य जगहों के बारे में न सिर्फ जाना बल्कि इससे जुड़ी अहम् जानकारियों को नोट्स में भी शामिल किया | इस शैक्षणिक परिभ्रमण में वनस्पति की जानकारी देने हेतु वनस्पति विभाग के विभागाध्यक्ष डॉ. विनय भूषण भी गए थे | परिभ्रमण को सफल बनाने में कॉलेज के प्रधानाचार्य प्रो. (डॉ.) उपेन्द्र प्रसाद सिंह की अहम् भूमिका के अलावा उर्दू विभाग के विभागाध्यक्ष एवं मीडिया प्रभारी प्रो. अबू बकर रिज़वी एवं दर्शन शाशत्र के विभागाध्यक्ष प्रो. श्यामल किशोर की बड़ी भूमिका रही
