CM Nitish Kumar Inaugurates Sports Conclave 3.0, Honors Renowned Athletes

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inaugurated the Sports Conclave 3.0 at Hotel Taj in Patna today, showcasing the state’s commitment to fostering sports culture and celebrating sporting excellence. Organized by the Department of Sports, the event highlighted Bihar’s achievements in the field of sports through a documentary presentation that detailed recent progress and initiatives.

The Chief Minister commended the efforts of the Department of Sports and reiterated his government’s dedication to promoting sports at every level. Dr. Deepa Malik, a Paralympic medalist and a trailblazer in para-sports, whose achievements have uplifted para-athletics in India.
Vijender Singh, an Olympic medal-winning boxer and a symbol of determination in Indian boxing.
P.R. Sreejesh, the celebrated former goalkeeper of the Indian men’s hockey team, known for his pivotal role in numerous international victories.

The Chief Minister presented the honorees with traditional shawls and mementos as a token of respect and gratitude for their outstanding contributions to Indian sports.

In his speech, CM Nitish Kumar emphasized the critical role sports play in building a healthy and progressive society.
