Patna City: The spirit of Eid was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Tender Hearts International School in Hajiganj, Patna City, on the eve of Eid. The festival, which marks the end of Ramzan (Ramadan), was observed with prayers, traditional delicacies, and a message of peace and brotherhood.
Dressed in colorful traditional attire, the children enthusiastically participated in the celebrations. The event began with special prayers, followed by Roza Iftari, where children enjoyed Lachha Sevaiyan and dates, which are commonly consumed to break the fast during Ramzan. The young students greeted each other warmly, exchanging Eid Mubarak wishes with hugs and smiles.
Several students, including Mandiha Fatima, Sukiyan, Jainab, Misbah, Nabiha, Pragyanash, Rishabh, Harsh, Hardik, Shauryash, and Sanskar, actively took part in the celebrations, embracing the spirit of togetherness and harmony.
Speaking at the event, the school’s director, Dr. Ravi Bhargav, emphasized the essence of Eid as a festival of happiness, unity, and compassion. He encouraged students to share in the joys and struggles of their neighbors and to uphold the values of peace and brotherhood, which are at the core of the festival.
The school’s principal, Dr. Julie Bhargav, explained the religious significance of Ramzan to the students. She highlighted how Muslims observe fasting throughout the holy month as an act of devotion and self-discipline. “This month teaches patience, self-control, and the importance of following religious principles,” she said.
The Eid celebration at the school was a collective effort, with special contributions from Anand Pammi, Rahim, and Shilpi, who played a key role in organizing the event successfully.
The event concluded with children enjoying sweets and exchanging warm wishes, reinforcing the festival’s message of love, unity, and respect for all communities.
Eid is not just a celebration for the Muslim community but a festival that spreads the message of peace, gratitude, and brotherhood across society. Through such events, young minds are encouraged to embrace cultural diversity and harmony, making the world a better place.
