Patna, November 22, 2024: Five officers of the Indian Police Service (IPS) from the 76 RR batch have been assigned districts in Bihar for their practical training. These officers joined the state cadre on October 27, 2024, for their district-level training. Among them, four belong to the 2022 batch, while one is from the 2023 batch.
The details of the officers, their educational qualifications, home states, and the districts allocated for their practical training are as follows:

The district practical training will last for 29 weeks (approximately seven months). Following this, the officers will proceed to the National Police Academy (NPA), Hyderabad, for Phase-II training of nine weeks (approximately two months).
Upon completion of Phase-II training, the officers will return to Bihar and be posted as Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASP) in various districts. This comprehensive training is part of the structured career progression plan for IPS officers to prepare them for field responsibilities.
